Spring Field Day - April 15th, 2006

The Community Draft Horse and Mule Association finally had a few dry days and were able to hold their Spring Field Day on Saturday April 15th.  The field day was held in conjunction with the youngsters from the Harrison County Chapter of the Future Farmers of America.  The event was held on the FFA farm just outside of town in Cynthiana, Ky.  The day was warm and sunny and, because of the large amount of rain over the past month, the fields were green and the trees were all starting to sprout leaves. There was a really nice turnout of members,  friends, and guests .  This was the first opportunity many of us had to get together since the club's Christmas dinner in early December, several months ago. It was a great way to start the 2006 season.
