2007 Southern Indiana Spring Field Days

April 28-29, 2007

The Southern Indiana Draft Horse and Mule Association got together in Rome, Indiana on April 28th and 29th to have some fun with their animals.  There had been some rain showers in the area all week, but Saturday and Sunday turn out fine.  The ground where the event was scheduled was very sandy and the water drained away rather quickly.  The event was held in conjunction with the annual Perry County Dogwood Festival and there were many tourists who stopped by to watch the teams work.  There were only a few teams there on Saturday, but several additional members brought their animals out on Sunday to join the fun. I want to thank the members for their friendship and hospitality all weekend.
