Russell Shiveley's 2007 Spring Ride

Russell Shiveley hosted his annual Spring ride on May 12th and 13th, 2007 near the beautiful Amish community of Unity in southeastern Ohio.  The group stayed at the Adams County Coonhunter's lodge, one of the groups more popular camping spots.  The weather was dry and beautiful with temperatures in the 80's during the day and in the 50's at night.  The turnout was small, but everyone who was there had a great time.  Russell's health continues to deteriorate and he was not able to join the riders, but he was there to see us off and to welcome us back after the ride.  There were plenty of guests for Saturday evening's dinner and we had a lot of delicious dishes to choose from.  Sunday was a rather lazy day and the group stayed at the lodge, visited with Russell, and sat around telling lies before jumping into our trucks for the annual trip over to Tater Ridge to visit the ever growing, antique emporium.  Most of the photos here are from Saturdays activities.
