Old Fashioned Farm Day
The 2007 Clark County Fair's Old Fashioned Farm Day was held on Sunday, July 29th at the Clark County Fairground near Winchester, Kentucky. There were several competitive events, all structured to mimic some of the activities that might have occurred around the farm in years past. Things started with log skidding, followed by an obstacle course, and a farm feeding race, all run against the clock. The final event of the day was everyone's favorite, the farm horse pull. There had been quite a bit of rain the day before and there was some overcast skies all afternoon. The ground was a little muddy, but it didn't turn out to be much of a problem. Fortunately, the rains held off until the very end of the horse pull, but by that time everyone was ready to call it a day.
