There is an old joke that asks if the capitol of Kentucky is Lexington or Louisville. The punch line is that it's neither, it's Frankfort! Well, on Saturday October 29th, Todd and Katrina Beckley hosted a small group of their friends from the Kentucky Trailblazers Wagon Club on a Halloween ride. The day started out pretty cold with frost on the ground, but by afternoon, temperatures were up and it turned out to be a beautiful Fall day. The group of 5 wagons left from the Beckley's barn and traveled north through the beautiful countryside of central Kentucky into the city of Frankfort and up to the state capitol building. The wagons made a circuit around the capitol building and past the official residence of the governor of the state of Kentucky. After a brief stop in front of the capital to take a few photos, the group quickly left the area and headed back home. While no one bothered us and we didn't think we were doing anything illegal, we didn't want to spend too much time there and push our luck. It was a fun day and I got to see some new countryside.
